Privacy Policy

Arcavoya is built to know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what little we handle, why, and what we never do.

No account, no identity

Arcavoya has no account system. You never give us your name, email address, phone number, or any other identity information to use the app.

The app uses an anonymous device identifier (Apple’s identifierForVendor) for one purpose only: enforcing fair daily usage limits. It is never linked to who you are, and it resets if you uninstall the app.

Your readings stay on your device

Your reading history is stored locally on your iPhone. It is not uploaded to our servers and is not synced to any cloud service. If you delete the app, your history is deleted with it.

How your question is processed

When you ask for a reading, the text of your question is sent to our server, which forwards it to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) to compose the interpretation. This happens over an encrypted connection.

We do not store the content of your questions or readings on our servers. Short-lived session data (kept for up to 24 hours) allows follow-up questions to stay in context, then expires automatically.

The app itself holds no AI provider credentials; all AI access goes through our own server.

Voice input

If you use the microphone to dictate a question, speech recognition is performed by Apple’s speech services under your iOS permissions. Audio is handled by Apple, not by us; only the recognized text enters the app, where you can edit it before sending. You can use Arcavoya fully without ever granting microphone access.

Notifications

If you enable the daily card reminder, scheduling happens on your device through iOS local notifications. You can change or disable it anytime in the app’s settings or in iOS Settings.

This website

This website uses a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool (Plausible) that records aggregate page views only. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites.

What we never do

We do not sell or share your data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not store your readings or questions on our servers. We do not ask for your identity.
